My two and half year old 50 inch plasma is giving me problems lately with fine vertical flashing stripes. My research tells me it's the buffer logic or other boards going bad because of dry solder or other problems. Before installing the board, I put a fan behind the tv and the problem went away. I hope it'll stay that way. My other electronics is not working well with the low AC voltage due to the current heat wave. Everything seems to work better when cooled.
